A very happy New year 2023 and a warm welcome to Ektara, the online platform on shared history, heritage and arts. One of our aims is to promote peace and communal harmony in India and the world. Ektara magazine has been running since January 2016. Your support will keep us floating.

1. Dastarkhwan-e Rampur, A Feast in Rampur (trailer of documentary)
The trailer of 'Dastarkhwan-e Rampur', a documentary film exploring the cultural history of Rampur town in north India, through its unique foods and culinary traditions. Directed by Yousuf Saeed, the full 60-mins film will be released soon.

2. Indian scholars, artists and media persons who passed away in 2022
Ektara remembers many well known Indian persons from the fields of arts, media and academia who died in the year 2022. See the list here >>

3. Tasveer Ghar features on Google Arts and Culture with three new exhibits
Google Arts and Culture has featured Tasveer Ghar, the house of pictures, with the following three new exhibits or stories on Gautam Hemmady's matchbox labels:
